INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARENTS WHO BRING FOOD:
1. Each dish should serve 6-8 people.
2. All food should be sent in disposable containers, if possible. Pick up containers at the end of the day in the front office, if you will not be volunteering during the lunch.
3. Please label the food item clearly, preferably with ingredients. It helps to satisfy the curiosity of the teachers who will have to choose from a wide variety of items. It also guides those with food allergies. NO PEANUTS please!!
4. Please provide a note to indicate whether your item should be served hot or cold. Items that need to stay cold will be refrigerated in the kitchen. This will help the volunteers a great deal.
5. Food serving tongs, spoons, cake cutters, etc. should be sent in (the kitchen has a limited amount). Please label all your items so they can be returned to you!
6. Parents may bring the dish during morning drop-off (7:40-8:30am). There will be volunteers collecting dishes at the Front- and Back-loading zones. Or, you may bring your dish between 10:00-10:30am.
